Happy Friday All. I hope this blog finds each of you surrounded by spooky décor, pumpkins on porches and homes filled with spice candles, Indian corn and gourds on counters and hearths. Halloween and the fall season are difficult for me to write about, because my skills are just not good enough to express my love for all things October. So extreme are my feelings that it just renders me inadequate. 

Seriously Quirky has been seriously quiet for a couple weeks – I had a pretty intense reaction to my Covid booster, but there’s more to it than that…

When I started this blog, I vowed not to take it too seriously. And I asked that you do the same. I’ve been writing most of my life, but this blog is the first time I’ve regularly written “in public,” if you will. Much of my writing is still very private – it took me nearly half a century to even share this blog. So, sometimes I’m working on writing that I don’t yet have the nerve to share. Occasionally I take writing assignments for work and then convert that into mortgage payments. And then other times I enjoy other creative work. Which brings me to a Big Cartoon Queen Bee. 

Sometimes in life you just have to take a break and make a Big Cartoon Queen Bee. 

Here she is. I think I’ll call her Charlotte. So, meet Charlotte. Have a great weekend everybody.
