This summer local bee celebrity beeauty, Charlotte, has added her own, special flare to a classic beach ensem to highlight her looks and showcase her incredible style. Her classic red polka dot bikini is paired with matching green flip flops and tote – a color combo that never fails to please. Charlotte sports an oversized deep orange straw hat with white bow for a daring use of color while also creating the perfect frame for dramatic beach makeup! Deep red lipstick and extra thick, long lashes make Charlotte’s sexy summer message clear: It’s gonna bee sand, surf and sizzle!

But Charlotte’s a heck of a lot more than just a pretty face – she’s been keeping me company these last few months. I’m officially giving a shoutout for letting me paint her portrait, and in a bikini, no less! 

Of course, she can’t be continuously available, so I’ve been practicing on some other subjects – anything I could grab – even a couple of old lemons here and there. 

A Lotta Lemons

The Seriously Quirky studio is filling up and a lot of blank canvases are full of color now – 

Before I started this update, I read the last blog I posted here on Seriously Quirky. It was February 7, 2022, and I’d just finished my first eye surgery. I had surgery on my other eye on May 5th. I get a new prescription for computer glasses sometime next week-ish and I’ll be able to see the screen while I’m typing. 

In the meantime, I’ve been able to see a canvas without any lenses. 

But now that I can comfortably communicate, what do I say? SO much has happened. SO much has changed. 

I’ll just throw this out there – January 6 Committee. Stunning.
